Malaysian developer delivers 90 new homes

DA NANG — Malaysia's Massda Land Co Ltd has handed over keys to owners of 90 houses in Phuc Loc Vien, or Fortune Park, in central Da Nang's Son Tra District. The event marked the completion of the first phase of a 7-ha residential housing project, which comprises double-storey, linked houses and villas with contemporary Malaysian architecture. Each house covers an area of 150sq m with a living room, four bedrooms and a kitchen.

Vietnam Airlines offers new online service

HA NOI — Vietnam Airlines officially launched http:///www.vietnamairlines.com on Monday after a trial period for domestic online check-in procedures.

The airline will expand the service to international flights linking Ha Noi or HCM City with Vientiane, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Seoul and Pusan (South Korea) and Kuala Lampur.

Vietinbank signs deal with rubber group

HA NOI — The Viet Nam Bank for Industry and Trade and the Viet Nam Rubber Group signed a co-operation agreement for their business activities on capital contributions, credit and project investment.

The bank plans to fund VND 60 trillion (US$3.2 billion) for rural areas and export lending. The group expects a revenue of VND30 trillion ($1.1 billion) by 2015, of which the export value would be nearly $1 billion.

Work starts on 4-star hotel in Hoa Binh

HOA BINH — An Thinh-Hoa Binh Real Estate JSC has turned the first sod on the An Thinh Hoa Binh four-star hotel project in the northern province of Hoa Binh with a total investment capital of US$15 million.

The 1.5-ha hotel will have 107 rooms, a 300-seat convention hall, a garden and six villas, plus swimming pools and a golf course.

OceanBank issues Visa Debit service

HA NOI — OceanBank opened its OceanBank Visa Debit on Wednesday in Ha Noi.

This was to improve banking technology for clients, the bank said.

OceanBank Visa Debit directly connects with customers' accounts with the use of more than 1 million ATM machines and payment via the internet. — VNS
